From May through July, Hanover 300 held “pop-up” events and an online survey to ask what community values Hanoverians care about the most. The full vision survey received nearly 230 respondents by the time it closed on July 31. Altogether, we heard from at least 500 Hanover residents throughout the visioning process:

While this effort makes clear how important good schools are to many, this might have been more useful if you had limited each person’s choice to his or her top three. I feel that true priorities were lost in this.
Thanks for your comment, Judy. The intent of this exercise was to get an overall sense and consensus of what the community values. We will be drilling specifically into each topic more deeply at upcoming public meetings, first of which is in less than a month. Hope to see you there!
